Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to provide primary support for building fire protection design reviews and commissioning activities in West Milton, NY. A DOE clearance or DOD equivalent is required to be considered.

Qualifications
- Solid understanding of fire protection design concepts and codes.
- Experience reading architectural/mechanical/electrical drawings and specs.
- Familiarity with NFPA standards and life-safety requirements.
- Ability to develop clear design reviews and commissioning documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform fire protection design reviews for new buildings and major renovations.
- Review calculations, layouts, and narratives for code compliance.
- Develop or review commissioning and acceptance test plans.
- Witness or perform functional testing of fire protection systems.
- Document results and track corrective actions to closure.
