Job summary

Garver seeks a Fire Protection Engineer in North Little Rock, Arkansas to lead the design and commissioning of building fire protection, suppression, and alarm systems. You will coordinate with multi-discipline teams and regional offices while supporting project managers and ensuring QA/QC adherence.

Periodic site travel is required and you will use BIM tools to produce construction drawings. Ideal candidates have a PE license in fire protection, ABET-engineering degree, 5–10 years of related

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university or college.
• Licensed Professional Engineer having passed the Fire Protection examination.
• 5-10 years of building design and construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of fire protection engineering principles for building fire protection designs.
• Experience overseeing fire protection designs, including detailed plans and specifications.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and commissioning of fire protection, suppression, and alarm systems for buildings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and regional offices on project delivery.
• Assist project managers and follow QA/QC plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel to project sites as required and manage budgets and schedules.
