Job summary

Charlotte Engineers is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with healthcare design experience to join our Protection team. The role requires clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to register in North Carolina and other states.

Applicants must have passed the NCEES Principles and Practice exam in Fire Protection, current PE registration, and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, NFPA codes, and International Building Codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of healthcare design experience.
• Passed NCEES Principles and Practice examination in Fire Protection Engineering.
• Current PE registration with eligibility for registration in North Carolina and other states.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Working knowledge of NFPA codes (13, 14, 20, 72, 99 and 101).
• Knowledge of International Building Codes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
