RJ-Staffing seeks a Plumbing and Fire Protection Design Engineer in Westchester County, NY. The role focuses on designing plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial, multifamily residential, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional facilities in NYC and the Tri-State Area.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of U.S. consulting experience, strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of U.S. consulting experience in plumbing and fire protection system design.
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, laboratory, residential, and hospitality projects is expected.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required; strong writing and interpersonal skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and evaluate existing building systems.
• Perform engineering analyses and calculations, select equipment, and design plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Work on commercial, multifamily residential, hospitality, healthcare, laboratory, and institutional projects.
• Participate in construction administration activities and coordinate designs with other disciplines.
• Mentor junior staff and communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

Overview:

Client company is seeking a Plumbing and Fire Protection Design Engineer with 3–5 years of U.S. consulting experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial, multifamily residential, hospitality, and institutional facilities, primarily in New York City and the Tri-State Area.

Responsibilities include field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, equipment selection, system design, and construction administration. The ideal candidate will be organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and able to communicate effectively and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities:
