You will design fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and underground systems using AutoCAD, REVIT, and HydraCad, collaborating with engineers and architects from design through construction administration.

Qualifications

• Management: 0-3 staff
• Education: BSME, BS Fire Engineering or equivalent experience
• Licensure: None required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Fire Protection Engineer and design lead to deliver construction documents and assist in construction administration
• Independently develop and draft construction documents for most project types with minimal oversight
• Apply knowledge of national standards and software like HydraCad across the design process
• Design and draft fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and underground piping systems for small to medium projects
