Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to prepare accurate fire protection layouts.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and size piping/equipment for system performance and compliance.
• Apply NFPA, IBC, IFC, and local codes to real-world fire protection design projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams for design inquiries and approvals.
• Review project specifications and identify value-engineering opportunities to improve design efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and templates.
