Responsibilities

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Design fire protection systems utilizing existing dimensions.
• Perform hydraulic calculations as required.
• Review design drawings before fabrication.
• Coordinate with Design Manager on schedules.
• Attend project meetings and site visits.

Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications

Education

Minimum 3 years of fire protection design experience

BIM (Navisworks) experience

NICET Level 2

Familiar with NFPA 13, 14, 20, 22 and FM Global Standards

Technical understanding of Fire Sprinkler Design

AutoCAD experience
