Garver Engineering is seeking a Fire Protection Designer in Dallas, TX, to develop fire protection, suppression, and alarm systems for building projects. The role involves coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, regional offices, and engineers to deliver design and commissioning activities.
Responsibilities include using BIM tools to produce drawings, running design calculations, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality through QA/QC plans.
As part of the Buildings Group for Garver, this Fire Protection Designer will be responsible for developing fire protection designs in support of various Buildings Business Line projects. Additionally, this role will include coordination with other support disciplines, coordination with regional offices, assisting fire protection engineers in the design of building projects, and following quality assurance and quality control plans.
