Job summary

QTS Data Centers in Atlanta is seeking a Development Project Manager – Fire Protection & Fire Alarm SME to provide technical leadership on fire protection, life safety, and alarm systems across data-center projects.

You will collaborate with facilities, engineering, procurement, and AHJs, review drawings, perform code interpretations, and support commissioning and testing. This role requires up to 25% travel and professional credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience in fire protection, fire alarm design, construction, or operations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection, fire alarm, life safety systems, engineering design, construction, commissioning, or facility operations.
• Experience with NFPA standards, IBC/IFC, FM Global requirements, and AHJ requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review drawing packages for adherence to fire protection, fire alarm, and life safety design standards.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and AHJ requirements.
• Define project scope requirements and communicate changes to design teams.
