Job summary

Qualifications

Experience conducting fire and building code inspections.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must obtain IFC Fire Inspector II within 60 days of appointment.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical inspections of fire protection systems and safety features.
Maintain Fire Department records and prepare required reports.
Issue and approve permits as required by the Fire Department.
Assist with Fire Department training related to Fire Prevention Bureau.
Participate in on-call rotation for fire investigation and ensure timely attendance.
