Qualifications

  • Three years' experience in performing fire inspection duties.
  • Associates degree from an accredited college; valid California driver’s license.
  • License/certifications including Fire Inspector I (ICC) and CFSTES Fire Inspector I.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, analysis and application of fire protection and prevention practices and principles.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, laws, regulations, and ordinances related to fire, building, life safety, and hazardous materials.
  • Provide technical support to an assigned supervisor.
  • Work primarily outside of the office and directly in the community; maintain exceptional customer service.
