Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college enrollment in fire-related field is recommended.
• OSFM Fire Inspection 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D coursework is highly desirable.
• Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
• One year of prior fire department experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections and fieldwork alongside fire service professionals.
• Update records, process data, and handle public inquiries and records requests.
• Support public education programs and community risk reduction activities.
• Provide administrative support and assist with events and special projects.
• Perform life safety inspections for relevant facilities when assigned.
