Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore in Oregon is seeking a Fire & Packout/Structure Cleaning Technician to care for customer belongings and restore structures damaged by fire or smoke. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role with lifting and moving tasks.

You will clean, pack, and move belongings, perform fire/smoke remediation, document activities, and participate in on-call rotations with possible weekend overtime. Competitive starting pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Background check required (age 18+) and pre-employment drug screening.
• Active Oregon driver's license with clean driving record for past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Clean, pack, and move customer belongings with care.
• Perform detailed cleaning and laundering in our facility.
• Fire/smoke remediation: pack-out contents, remove non-salvageable items, assist with cleaning.
• Post-cleaning tasks including odor, biohazard, and COVID-related cleaning as needed.
• Document all job activities in the company software.
• Report equipment issues or customer problems to supervisors.
• Complete tasks according to company processes with quality control.
• Participate in on-call rotation and potential weekend/overtime shifts.
