Job summary
Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) seeks a Fire OE Instructor to deliver quality instruction and coordinate fire and emergency services training programs. You will align schedules, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure training meets state standards and program expectations.
Requirements include NC NFPA 1001 Firefighter I & II Qualified Instructor status, an Associate degree in Fire Science (or the ability to obtain within two years), and five years of related fire service management
Qualifications
- NC NFPA 1001 Firefighter I & II Qualified Instructor status.
- Associate degree or higher in Fire Science within 2 years.
- Five years of fire service management experience.
- Strong instructional and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction consistent with state standards.
- Coordinate course scheduling and equipment use with the Fire Academy Coordinator.
- Maintain accurate course and student documentation and support program compliance.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and partner agencies.
