Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related Engineering field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software like Excel to manage, interpret, and analyze data.
• Ability to write clear and persuasive reports, letters, and other technical documents.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and manage budgets for projects to meet client expectations.
• Ability to convey complex ideas to clients and funding agencies.
• Ability to take on leadership roles for managing projects and teams.
• Ability to understand and empathize with the needs of funding agencies including sponsors and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and others.
• Develop recommendations based on standards, including loss estimates before and after completion of recommendations.
• Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
• Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, hazards, and natural hazards.
• Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as Maximum Foreseeable Loss.
• Provide services to clients including training, loss control program development, and code/regulatory interpretation.
• Provide project management services including visits, plan reviews, and presentations to clients.
• Participate in regular training to enhance knowledge and refine skills.
