As a Fire/Life Safety Systems & Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of these buildings through service, maintenance, installation, programming, start-up, and commissioning of fire alarm and sprinkler systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist with commissioning new fire and safety systems during construction for seamless integration.
• Test and inspect existing fire and safety systems.
• Plan work collaboratively with mentors and team leaders.
• Complete commissioning within scheduled timelines.
• Accurately log time and expenses.
• Respond promptly to repairs and troubleshoot system issues.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Report activities and issues clearly and promptly.

This position is based in Blue Bell/Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications:

Basic:

• Electro-mechanical aptitude and proficiency in PC/software, including Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of network components and operating systems.
• Ability to work in various environments, including climbing ladders and working in ducts or outside conditions.
• Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 18 months.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
• Experience installing fire/life safety equipment.
• Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
