Job summary

Siemens Smart Buildings is offering a Summer 2027 Sales Intern position in the Sacramento area. The role exposes you to sales processes, CRM management, and cross-functional collaboration with the local sales team.

You will support lead generation, prepare proposals, and participate in client meetings while rotating through Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Security and Energy/Sustainability segments. Eligibility requires ongoing undergraduate enrollment and relevant majors.

Qualifications

• Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Majors include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing.
• Pursuing a professional sales certificate or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the local branch office.
• Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account outreach.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Help manage CRM data by tracking leads and maintaining data accuracy.
• Shadows sales calls and meetings to learn effective sales techniques.
