Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in New Jersey is seeking a Project Manager to organize, manage, and plan complex research, development, and product implementation efforts. You will oversee bids, contract selection, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site inspections to ensure projects meet specifications.

You will lead an interdepartmental team, conduct risk analysis, coordinate with sales and operations, and ensure compliance with OSHA and all regulations.

Qualifications

• At least three years of related project management experience.
• PMP, PgMP, CAPM certifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team of managers and analysts to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
• Conducts risk assessments and recommends mitigation strategies.
• Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and adherence to regulations.
• Review design drawings and coordinate with AHJ approvals.
