Job summary

Johnson Controls in Totowa, New Jersey, seeks a Fire Project Manager to lead fire-related project delivery from initiation to closeout. You will coordinate with customers, technicians, subcontractors, and Johnson Controls management to maintain scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

You will manage risks, monitor expenditures, and ensure projects meet safety and quality standards while driving on-time, in-scope completion and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project management experience in fire-related or security construction delivery.
• Experience with fire alarm systems and installation workflows is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel 25%+ as needed on active projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire and security project delivery from initiation through closeout.
• Define scope, risks, priorities, and coordinate with stakeholders and field teams.
• Develop plans, schedules, and allocate resources to keep work progressing.
• Monitor progress, expenditures, and forecast trends; adjust plans as needed.
