Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead fire and life safety system projects from design through commissioning. You will manage field operations, coordinate with the sales and installation teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with compliant design and construction standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in construction PM, strong code knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience as a project manager within the construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable code requirements.
• Customer-centric with leadership and team-management skills.
• Ability to manage job scheduling and progress cost-effectively with focus on quality.
• Ability to estimate and propose change orders on projects.
• Able to read and interpret system designs on blueprints and project specs.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• NICET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment.
• Keep projects on budget, identify overruns, implement mitigations.
• Assist in estimate development and ensure scope adherence.
• Maintain open communication with customers and partners.
• Review drawings for conformance to regulations and standards.
• Update manpower planning for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with finance to review billings and approvals.
• Provide monthly budget updates and cost-to-complete data.
• Contribute lessons learned from project data.
• Ensure PPE and safety compliance per project scope.
