Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs; may require computer skills.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fire Command Station and supervision of fire brigade, wardens and evacuation teams.
• Liaise with NYC Fire Department during emergencies.
• Ensure life safety systems and equipment are functional.
• Conduct fire drills and log critiques to identify weaknesses.
• Assist security with badges/identification and access control.
• Maintain surveillance and report suspicious persons or packages.
• Provide CPR/AED and basic first aid if required.
