Job summary

Alliance is seeking a Fire & Life Safety Director to oversee all fire and life safety operations across NYC Class-A properties. This leadership role ensures a safe, compliant environment for tenants, visitors, and employees, coordinating with FDNY and building management.

Responsibilities include emergency preparedness, drills, and system oversight, with a focus on exceptional customer service and regulatory compliance in premier commercial spaces.

Qualifications

• Valid F-89 Fire & Life Safety Director Certification.
• Valid NY State Security Guard License.
• Minimum 2 years Fire & Life Safety Director experience in NYC commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire and life safety operations ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop emergency plans, evacuations, and life safety protocols.
• Coordinate fire drills, safety inspections, and staff training.
• Ensure readiness of fire alarm, sprinkler, and life safety systems.
• Direct emergency response with FDNY and building management.
• Maintain records of inspections, drills, and certifications.
• Support security operations and access control as needed.
