Allied Universal is hiring a Fire Life Safety Director for a medical facility in Downtown Brooklyn. The role focuses on enforcing the building's fire safety plan, managing the Fire Command Station and evacuation teams, and coordinating with the NYC Fire Department during emergencies.

Candidates must hold a F85/F89 Certificate of Fitness, be 18+, and able to communicate clearly. Training in CPR/AED and first aid may be required. Flexible shifts are available with hourly pay and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certificate of Fitness (F85/F89) required or pending where applicable.
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property by implementing the building's fire safety plan.
• Supervise Fire Command Station, Fire Wardens and evacuation teams.
• Act as liaison to NYC Fire Department during emergencies.
• Conduct fire alarm drills and maintain logs evaluating response times and safety gaps.
• Provide clear directions to visitors, vendors and employees, and verify badges for access control.
