Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a floater security officer to observe and report activities at client sites, ensuring safety for personnel and property. The role requires standing for long periods and performing frequent facility tours to enforce site regulations.

The position emphasizes strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle access control issues, with overtime and weekend shifts commonly required. Training and licensing in security are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid T-89 or F89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License; minimum 2 years Hotel FLSD experience (preferred).
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field (preferred, not required).
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Protective security experience a plus; technical knowledge of building systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multiple tours of the facility during shifts.
• Operate radio or console monitoring equipment.
• Interact cordially with the public and communicate effectively.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and other computer tools.
• Identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Assist residents/customers with access control issues.
• Tour the facility multiple times per shift.
