Qualifications

• State or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Must have Fire Safety Directors license.
• Knowledge of fire inspection operations and procedures.
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Must hold a security guard license or obtain one within an acceptable period.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, fire department, military, customer service experience preferred.
• Good organizational skills and time management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff while assisting customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility.
• Monitor the environment and detect suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Enforce facility policies and procedures within role limits.
• Oversee scheduling, overtime, and daily logs.
• Test and inspect fire extinguishers and safety devices.
• Prepare reports on inspections and safety violations.
• Train staff in fire emergency response plans.
• Perform additional security and safety duties as required.
