SGS is seeking a candidate to perform fire and flammability testing of consumer products in a dedicated laboratory in New York. You will learn and apply multiple industry methods while following established SOPs and safety protocols.

The role involves setting up, running, and validating tests, documenting results, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment. A strong attention to detail and ability to work under supervision are essential.

Formación

• Experience in fire testing in a controlled lab.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures.
• Basic math and reading safety documents.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine flammability testing on consumer products.
• Validate test methods and SOPs; document results.
• Prepare reports and maintain lab records.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment; ensure PPE.
• Assist with QA checks and inventory when needed.
