Job summary

SGS is seeking a laboratory professional to conduct fire and flammability testing of consumer products, following established SOPs and industry standards. The role requires setup, execution, data collection, and documentation of test results in a structured laboratory environment.

The candidate will perform routine tests, maintain reports, and support QA/QC initiatives while adhering to safety policies and efficient, precise workflows.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working in a fire testing laboratory.
• Ability to follow safety rules and SOPs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire and flammability testing of consumer products.
• Follow SOPs and test to standards (ASTM, NFPA, CFR, ISO).
• Set up and conduct tests, document results, and maintain records.
• Assist in QA/QC checks and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.
