Keystone Experts & Engineers, a national forensic engineering firm, seeks part-time/subcontracted Fire Investigators to support fire origin and cause investigations across the United States. Investigators determine origin and cause for residential, commercial, industrial sites, vehicles, and equipment, and convey findings verbally or in written reports with industry-leading turnaround times.

Ideal candidates hold IAAI-CFI preferred, a Private Investigator license where required, and NFPA

Qualifications

• IAAI-CFI certification preferred.
• Private Investigators license (if state requires one).
• Knowledge of NFPA 921 and NFPA 1033.
• Willing to travel to loss locations across the state of residence and surrounding states.

Responsibilities

• Determine origin and cause of fire and explosion events at residential, commercial, industrial sites, vehicles and machinery.
• Clearly convey findings to clients verbally or in written reports within industry-leading turnaround times.
