Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely field investigations at loss sites.
• Provide unbiased analysis on fires and explosions.
• Perform daily field studies and research.
• Travel within a 100-mile radius, with possible overnight stays.
• Interact with clients, handle sensitive information.
• Write detailed reports promptly.
• Update clients on project timelines.
• Provide expert testimony when needed.
• Work flexible hours during peak times.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certifications: CFEI (NAFI) or CFI (IAAI) preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Private Investigator License within 60 days if applicable.
• Knowledge of NFPA 921 and NFPA 1033 standards.
• Experience in fire origin and cause investigations (minimum 2 years).
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, roofs, and perform hands-on investigations.
• Valid driver’s license with good record.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Willingness to travel and work remotely.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for prolonged periods.
• Lift objects up to 100 lbs.
• Climb onto roofs, ladders, etc.
• Perform physical activities like crawling, stooping, reaching.
• Operate a motor vehicle for extended periods.
