Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Fire Extinguisher Technician (e.g., NFPA 10) strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in extinguisher inspection, maintenance, and repair is desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand and power tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers and team members.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fire extinguishers for code compliance.
• Perform maintenance: disassembly, cleaning, reassembly.
• Inspect and replace parts: valves, hoses, nozzles, seals.
• Recharge extinguishers and pressurize to proper levels.
• Install/ service mounts, brackets, and safety signage.
• Provide on-site customer training on usage and maintenance.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain service records in Service Trade platform.
• Assist with inventory management and stock levels.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinators to optimize routes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
