Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking an Extinguisher Service Technician to perform inspection, maintenance, and servicing of fire extinguishers in accordance with industry standards and regulations. You will play a critical role in safeguarding lives and property by conducting thorough inspections and providing expert service to customers.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, detailed maintenance, component replacement, recharges, and on-site training.

Qualifications

• Inspections of extinguishers to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Maintenance tasks including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of extinguishers.
• Repair or replacement of components such as valves, hoses, nozzles, and seals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of extinguishers for compliance.
• Perform maintenance including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and testing.
• Inspect and replace parts (valves, hoses, nozzles, seals) to ensure functionality.
• Recharge extinguishers and repressurize to recommended levels.
• Install and service brackets, signage, and related safety equipment.
• Provide on-site training to customers on proper use and maintenance.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records using Service Trade platform.
• Assist with inventory management of extinguishers and components.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinators to optimize routes and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
