Target pay for this role is $18-25/hr, depending on experience

Day to Day

• Inspect, test, maintain, and service fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Identify deficiencies, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Complete accurate electronic inspection reports, timesheets, and safety records.
• Use mobile technology and scheduling tools to manage service activities.
• Review findings with customers and deliver responsive, professional service.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.
• Stay current on industry standards, fire protection technology, and safety practices.

Experience Needed

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous fire extinguisher inspection, testing, maintenance, or service experience preferred.
• Experience with NFPA 10 requirements and portable fire extinguisher regulations is a plus.
• Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
• General computer and tablet proficiency.
• A commitment to safety, integrity, accountability, and quality workmanship.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, using lifts, and navigating stairs.
• Ability to work throughout the day in commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
