BlueJack Fire Acquisition, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to inspect, maintain, and service fire extinguishing equipment across Long Island City, NY and nearby regions. This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork.

You will conduct inspections, install and replace extinguishers, maintain records, and provide customer training. Training is available; no prior experience is required, but a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Willing to train; no prior experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Solid general mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers to NFPA standards.
• Install new extinguishers and replace outdated units.
• Keep detailed service records and documentation.
• Interact with clients to provide service information and answer questions.
• Provide basic training on extinguisher use and maintenance.
