Responsibilities:
Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of fire extinguishers in accordance with local and national regulations.
Installation and Replacement: Install new fire extinguishers and replace outdated or damaged units as needed.
Record-Keeping:Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and replacements, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns related to fire extinguisher systems.
Training: Provide basic training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
Qualifications:
Experience: Willing to train, no experience necessary
Certifications: Hold relevant certifications such as NFPA 10, NYC Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Maintenance (W96), and any other applicable certifications.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of fire safety codes and regulations, as well as knowledge of various types of fire extinguisher systems.
Skills:Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment at least 50lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
Valid Driver\'s License: Must possess a valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
Pay:$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
