Qualifications

• Valid driver license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.
• Experience as a field service technician or in fire and life safety.
• Solid understanding of fire extinguisher types, components, and servicing.
• Familiarity with NFPA/OSHA safety codes and standards.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication with clients and teams.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of fire extinguishers per schedules and standards.
• Examine extinguishers for defects, damage, or wear.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance for each extinguisher.
• Service and recharge extinguishers to ensure full functionality.
• Ensure serviced extinguishers meet fire codes and standards.
• Update service records with dates, details, and corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection findings and recommendations to clients or internal teams.
• Interact professionally with clients on-site and address questions.
