Job summary

Wayne County Schools Career Center in Smithville, Ohio seeks a Substitute Instructor for the Fire/EMT program. Starting immediately with days per board calendar, pay $120/day for Days 1–30 and $140/day thereafter. Reports to CTE Supervisor.

Must obtain required licenses and clearances prior to starting; orientation and trainings are expected. Responsibilities include delivering program lessons, adhering to board policies, and coordinating with the instructor of the program to meet learning

Qualifications

• Must hold Fire and Emergency Services Instructor II Certification.
• Must hold Firefighter II and EMT-Basic Certification.
• BCI and FBI criminal records results must be submitted prior to initial employment and as required thereafter.
• Must have or be willing to get a Career Tech Workforce Development Substitute Teaching License.
