Emergency Telecommunicator Services seeks Fire Dispatchers to coordinate responses to fires, rescues, and hazardous conditions. You will receive incident information, alert resources, and maintain communication with responding crews in Brookeland, TX.

This role emphasizes organized information handling, precise data entry, and adherence to response plans while operating in a busy communications environment. Training and ongoing certification support are provided where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; some roles prefer dispatch experience.
• Comfort with computer systems, maps, and radio communications.
• Fire dispatch certification or EMS training may be required for certain assignments.

Responsabilités

• Receive and document reports of fires, rescues, alarms, and hazards.
• Verify incident locations, access information, and risks.
• Alert stations and dispatch apparatus using approved assignments.
• Monitor radio channels, unit availability, and incident status.
• Relay information about occupants, hazards, and changing conditions.
• Process requests for additional resources through established procedures.
• Coordinate mutual-aid communications when assigned.
• Record dispatch times, unit movements, and significant updates.
