Job summary

Marksman Security LLC in Liberty, NC is hiring a Fire Captain to lead emergency response operations at Toyota's Battery Manufacturing Plant. You will supervise a fire response team, oversee prevention, and enforce safety protocols to ensure plant operations run safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of paid fire service experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Certified Firefighter 1 and 2.
• NIMS 100, 200, 300, 700, 800.
• EMR or higher certification (EMT/Paramedic).
• Pass an NFPA 1582 physical examination and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train an elite fire response team.
• Oversee fire prevention, suppression, and safety protocols.
• Conduct drills, inspections, and emergency preparedness exercises.
• Respond to and manage on-site emergencies.
• Work closely with safety teams to maintain top-tier compliance.
• Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all SOPs for emergencies.
• Complete incident reports as required.
• Responds to fire/medical/security/hazmat/threat situations.
• Performs routine inspections on fire alarm/suppression equipment.
• Maintain compliance with certifications as required by local mandate.
