Qualified applicants will read tapes, operate tools, inspect materials, train new staff, and lift up to 50 lbs while standing up to 10 hours daily. The position offers an hourly wage with benefits and advancement opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read tape measure to 1/16” for production and verification
• Safe and effective use of power tools and machinery (saws, drills, nail guns, spot welders)
• Inspect and verify materials meet standards and customer needs
• Participate in training for your position
• Demonstrate ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and stand/walk up to 10 hours daily

Responsibilities

• Support Balco’s Quality Policy and procedures.
• Follow work instructions and complete production paperwork.
• Initiate corrective actions for problems in product/processes.
• Train new employees in the Fire Barrier Department.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Assist with production orders and quality checks.
