Job summary
Resource Consultings Services Inc. seeks a seasoned Fire Alarm Technician for on-site Reno area work. You will install, service and test fire alarm and burglar alarm systems, providing customers with required documentation and training.
The role requires F card certification, NFPA knowledge, and ability to read floor plans, with travel within the local radius as part of duties. A valid driver’s license and OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of fire alarm service experience.
- F card certification required.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and Life Safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Willingness to travel within Reno area vicinity.
Responsibilities
- Installation, service and testing of fire alarm and burglar alarm systems.
- Provide customers with required equipment documentation and training.
- Install and upgrade systems as required by manufacturers.
- Complete installation of systems in an efficient and profitable manner.
- Read and follow floor plans for installation and testing tasks.
- Supervise electrical subcontractors during cable and equipment installation.
