Job summary

Midwest Alarm Services is seeking a qualified installer/service technician for commercial fire alarm and life safety systems. You will install, service, and maintain Notifier, Simplex and related technologies across multiple locations.

Required to obtain NICET II within two years and hold a valid driver’s license; electronics background is valued. Excellent benefits, on‑site work, and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; electronics training is preferred.
• Must obtain NICET II certification within 2 years of employment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and licenses/certifications for security work as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain commercial fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Program or reprogram systems using programming software and tools.
• Test and verify systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Keep company vehicles clean and perform daily paperwork.
• Occasionally supervise other technicians and be on-call as needed.
