Job summary

EPS Security is seeking Installation Technicians to learn and install fire, burglar, access control, and video surveillance systems across Michigan homes and businesses. You’ll be paid to learn the trade and become proficient with top brands like First Alert, DMP, and Notifier.

You’ll receive paid, on‑the‑job training for industry certifications at our EPS Training Center, while performing system checks, customer instruction, vehicle maintenance, and timely paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report.
• Ability to work in Traverse City, Michigan without relocation.

Responsibilities

We’ll pay you to learn the trade of alarm installation, and turn you into a fire alarm, intrusion alarm, access control, and video surveillance expert. Our technicians play an essential role in the safety of local communities, installing and programming security solutions in Michigan homes and businesses. Your Responsibilities

• Install burglar alarm, fire alarm, card access, and video surveillance systems .
• Perform system checks to confirm signal verification .

• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will possess

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to use hand tools
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report
• Ability to work in Traverse City, Michigan, without relocation assistance
• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications :

• Previous working experience in related electrical fields
• FAST or Journeymenlicensed
