Currently, we have an open position for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician. The primary responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing systems, and making recommendations for installations and services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect fire alarm and burglar alarm systems, access control systems, monitoring systems, and nurse call systems
  • Make recommendations for system installation and services
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the company vehicle, and adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Work independently and perform high-quality workmanship
  • Demonstrate good customer service skills and professional communication
  • Follow verbal and written instructions; document work accurately and clearly
  • Have basic tools, including hand tools, and knowledge of tools common to the trade
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and a good DMV record for at least 5 years
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, and programming of fire alarm systems
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm products, access control, and CCTV concepts and products
  • Knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and current industry standards
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Schedule
  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating On-Call Shifts (for Service Department applicants)
Compensation

$28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, climbing ladders and scaffolds, and working over 40 feet above ground. Must be able to navigate the jobsite and comply with safety requirements. Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. is required.
