Job description

We are seeking Fire Alarm Technicians to join our team in Nebraska and Iowa.

We also need Project Managers capable of working on and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. Ideal candidates will be able to coordinate labor on-site, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy collaborating with others to complete projects.

Licensed Electricians and experienced apprentices with commercial fire alarm experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, and repairing alarm wiring and equipment in commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Install and service new and existing fire alarm systems.
• Manage projects and coordinate labor, other trades, and materials.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems.
• Monitor inventory of service parts.

Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial fire alarm installation, maintenance, security, low voltage wiring, or related fields.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Construction experience on commercial projects is required.

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

• Current Nebraska Electrical Journeyman’s license.
• Current Nebraska Electrical Apprentice License with 2 years of fire alarm experience.
• Current Nebraska Fire Alarm Installers license.
• Applicants with 12+ months of documented electrical apprentice experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience installing low voltage wiring in commercial settings, such as new apartment construction, is a plus.
