Job Summary

The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for diagnosing, installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as ensuring that it meets safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with fire alarm systems required. Familiar with Intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems is a plus.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues or malfunctions in equipment and systems.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems.
  • Conduct tests and calibrations to verify equipment performance and accuracy.
  • Install, assemble, and dismantle equipment and systems as required.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve technical issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and technologies to provide effective solutions.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers or end-users.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Other Requirements
