What you'll do as a Fire Alarm Technician - Operations

  • Oversee and assist with cable, device, and head-end installations.
  • Perform programming of systems both offsite and onsite.
  • Test and commission installed systems with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) and other stakeholders.
  • Install and troubleshoot fire alarm control equipment at job sites.
  • Provide excellent customer service to end users and electrical contractors.
  • Inspect, service, and repair systems as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with operations team to exceed customer expectations.

Requirements and preferences for Fire Alarm Technician - Operations

  • At least one year of fire alarm experience.
  • Experience with Notifier and Fire-Lite brands preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred.
  • Denver Journeyman's Fire Alarm license preferred.
  • Experience with complex fire alarm systems (networking, high-rise, releasing, etc.) preferred.
  • Technical and hands-on skills are essential.
  • Valid driver's license required for daily travel.
  • Weekend standby rotation required.
