A leading company in fire protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with at least 5 years of experience. The candidate will install, service, and test fire alarm systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards. Strong customer service skills and NICET certification are preferred. Job Responsibilities
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for service, testing, and Installation of fire alarm systems and devices.
Additional responsibilities of the Fire Alarm Technician include:
· Install and basic programming of fire alarm systems and devices
· Running cable and bending conduit
· Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
Job Requirements
To qualify for the Fire Alarm Technician position, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire alarm systems.
Additional requirements of the Fire Alarm Technician Position include:
· NICET Certification Fire Alarm Level 2 or higher preferred
· Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email
· Strong customer service skills and communications
· Familiarity with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and local codes
