Job description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in our Georgia office. In this role, you will provide technical field support and service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, conducting on-site installations and repairs, and providing ongoing training for customer personnel.

As your employer, we offer an advancement plan and subsidize 82.5% of your medical benefits. Additional benefits such as vision, dental, and life insurance are available for purchase. New hires start with 15 days of PTO beginning January 1, prorated based on hire date, with PTO increasing with years of service. Employees are also paid for 10 company holidays.

The Fire Alarm Technician's key responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinating with contractors during the installation of fire alarm systems.
  2. Performing system commissioning, including software loading and modifications.
  3. Testing and inspecting fire alarm systems under maintenance agreements.
  4. Troubleshooting and repairing network hardware and software issues.
  5. Identifying code and non-conformance issues.
  6. Making recommendations for system installations and service contracts.
  7. Generating detailed daily reports on activities using company software.
  8. Supporting emergency on-call assignments.
  9. Supporting 2nd and 3rd shift work.

Compensation: $24-$40 hourly wage
