Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is hiring a Project Technician – Fire I to install and certify fire safety product lines and to support customer installations at client sites. You will guide installation processes, interpret plans, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role includes on-site work, minor repairs, and periodic emergency call coverage. Ideal candidates have two years of experience with commercial/industrial fire alarm systems, can read diagrams and manuals, and can lift up to 50

Qualifications

Two years of experience in commercial/industrial fire alarm systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
Ability to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
Experience with hand tools and multimeter usage.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to carry and move equipment weighing up to 40–50 pounds.
Physical demands include frequent lifting and climbing; comfortable with lifts and ladders.

Responsibilities

Perform installation and certification of fire safety product lines.
Guide installation process and ensure standards for quality and safety.
Add devices to existing systems and certify after modifications.
Make minor repairs and programming changes to keep systems operational.
Interact with customers or general contractors to ensure work meets expectations.
Communicate schedules, material needs, and issues with Project Management.
Complete assigned tasks on time.
Support emergency service call-outs on a rotational basis.
Other duties as assigned by the Company.
