Job summary

Stantec's Buildings team seeks a Fire Alarm Designer in Chicago to perform basic technical duties under supervision, coordinating production and updating leaders on progress. You’ll work with CAD and Revit to prepare deliverables and support the fire alarm discipline with surveys and documentation.

With a degree in engineering and 3+ years of industry experience, you’ll thrive in an entrepreneurial, innovative environment; NICET certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to develop project deliverables from design documents to reports.
• Coordinate tasks with other teams and assist senior staff.
• Use CAD and Revit to prepare fire alarm construction documents and drawings.
